Eggs-traordinary Egg of the Day: Hotel Chef James Church found this perfectly round free-range egg in a batch bought from a local caterer. Church says he’s cracked over 100,000 eggs in the eight years he’s spent in the kitchen, but has never seen anything like this.
“I called everyone in the kitchen over and they stood around it too,” he is quoted as saying. “They had never seen anything like it either.”
I’m reminded of that horrible jingle that goes “may bilog na hugis itlog” (there’s a circle that is egg-shaped [dumb, I know]). It seems this is the reverse. An egg that is round-shaped.
